Officials: Man died of hypothermia near Medical Lake

From staff reports
A man found dead in a ditch west of Medical Lake in February died of hypothermia, according to a news release from the Spokane Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause and manner of Bruce A. King’s death was finalized on Tuesday. The 53-year-old was found near the intersection of West Hallett Road and North Strangland Road on Feb. 24. Spokane County sheriff’s major crimes detectives did not find any signs of trauma. Prior reports said King apparently froze to death. Detectives originally though the death was suspicious, but it was ruled accidental, the news release said.
