Students make dean’s lists across the country

Eastern Oregon University recently named area residents named to the fall quarter dean’s list for the 2012-13 academic year. Students are listed by their hometown.

• Creighton University, in Omaha, Neb., recently named local residents to the fall quarter dean’s list for the 2012-13 academic year. Students are listed by their hometown.

Spokane Valley: Joseph Ippolito.

• Kristi McGowan has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 quarter at the University of Montana. She is the daughter of Mark and Jan McGowan and a 2011 graduate of Mead High School.

• Northwest University, in Kirkland, Wash., has named Sarah Matlack to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 quarter. She graduated from Central Valley High School in 2012. She is the daughter of John and April Matlack.

• Britta LaVoie, of Colbert, and Samantha Cruz, of Spokane Valley, have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 quarter at Pacific Lutheran University, in Tacoma.

• Grove City College, in Grove City, Pa., has named Lucy Everett to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 quarter. She is the daughter of Mark and Teresa Everett, both of Spokane.

• Angela Guemmer, of Fairchild Air Force Base, has been named to the fall 2012 quarter dean’s list at Blackburn College in Carlinville, Ill.

• Emma Zellmer of Liberty Lake, has been named to Michigan Technological University’s fall 2012 semester dean’s list.

• Washington University, in St. Louis, Mo., has named Eileen Wang Lai, of Pullman, to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester.

• Jake Forsman, of Spokane, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Bemidji State University, in Bemidji, Minn.

• Azusa State University, in Azusa, Calif., has named Amelia Fairburn, of Spokane, to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester.

• Eden Darling, of Spokane, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

• Hillsdale College, in Hillsdale, Mich., has named Eric Walker, of Spokane, to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list. He is the son of Matt and Michelle Walker, both of Spokane, and graduated in 2012 from The Oaks Classical Christian Academy.

• Cory Sago, of Colbert, and Willis Sanburn, of Spokane, have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.

• Beth Albrecht, of Spokane, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minn.
