Obituary: Sawyer, Judith

MICHAUD SAWYER, Judith Judith Elaine Michaud Sawyer, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, companion and dear friend to many passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 16, 2013, in Everett, Washington.

Judy was born March 14, 1953 in Alamosa, Colorado to John and Erlinda Cabeza.

She graduated from Branham High School in San Jose, California and raised her family of four boys in Spokane, Washington where she shared her love of food and cooking with family and friends.

She was the beloved mother of four sons, Oliver Michaud (Kim), Nathan Michaud (Christy), Jake Sawyer (Tana) and Zeke Sawyer (Beth), and the loving grandmother of Alie, Aria, Kaden, Travis, Trenton, Tyler, Zeke, all of Spokane, Washington.

She was the much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her companion Russ Dean.

Dear sister to Dollie Brown (Derek), Linda Calebotta (Steve), Diana Kreisher, Carla Carpenter, Anita Ovard (Jeff), Veronica Arnold (Bill), Miguel Cabeza (Gaye), Joe Cabeza, Bob Cabeza (Julie).

Preceded in death by her parents John Cabeza, Del and Erlinda Kintner and brothers Ralph and Alfred Cabeza.

Judy’s true legacy is her family and her extensive network of friendships.

All who knew Judy will remember her warmth, quick wit, infectious laugh and her beautiful smile.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Rest in peace dear sister.

A memorial was held March 10th, 2013 at the Snohomish Eagle Lodge in Snohomish, Washington.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held in Spokane, Washington in May.
