Obituary: Wood, Andrew D.

WOOD, Andrew D. (Age 81) Of Cle Elum, retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major, died April 6, 2013, at Yakima Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 17, 1931, in Spokane, Washington.

Andrew graduated in 1950 from John R. Rogers High School in Spokane.

After he retired from the Army, he moved to Cle Elum and lived there for the past 27 years.

Andrew is survived by sons, Daniel Wood of Cle Elum, Mickey (Joan) Wood of Ellensburg, Tommy Wood of Cle Elum, Billy Wood of Columbia, SC, and Arthur Wood of Cle Elum; and his two grandsons, Mac and Ben Wood of Ellensburg.

Our father will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2013, at Cascade Funeral in Cle Elum.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2013, at Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Cle Elum.
