Sasquatch split pair with Yaks

CC Spokane split a NWAACC baseball doubleheader with Yakima Valley on Thursday at Spokane Falls CC, losing the opener 9-3 but winning the second game 6-1.

The visiting Yaks (17-9, 7-3) piled up 15 hits while the Sasquatch (17-9, 8-2) made four errors in the first game.

Cody McGlocklin (University HS) pitched his second straight complete game for the Sasquatch in the nightcap, giving up just three hits and walking none. CCS made the most of its six hits, which included Chad Nyquist’s (Coeur d’Alene) third home run of the season.
