Obituary: Koehler, Tami R.

KOEHLER, Tami R. October 11, 1957 - April 4, 2013 Surrounded by her loving family and faithful dog Oscar, Tami Renee Koehler, 55, passed away at home peacefully on April 4, 2013.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on October 11, 1957.

Her family later moved to Libby, Montana, in 1973, where she met her future husband, Clint.

It was the beginning of their junior year in high school, when Tami asked Clint to go with her to a “Sadie Hawkins” dance.

They were together the next forty years, thirty of which were married bliss celebrated recently on their Valentine’s Day anniversary.

Tami worked for Rosauers Supermarkets for nearly 24 years, most of that time spent in Store # 3.

She dearly loved her job and most of all, her many customers.

She always received the highest grades from “secret shoppers” over her many years.

She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, gardening, and her beloved grand- children.

Tami will be missed and cherished by all those who were fortunate enough to have experienced her presence.

In life she cast a wide net of joy to a great many.

Her tenderness and spirit will always live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Clint, daughter Spring and grandchildren Bradly, Tracey, Tristen and Skyler.

She was preceded in death by her mother Julie, brother Kenny, and stepfather Chuck.

The family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to Cancer Care Northwest and Hospice of Spokane.

There will be a celebration of Tami’s life on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at the Center Place Regional Events Center in the Fireside Lounge, 2426 N. Discovery Place, Spokane Valley, Washington.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Interment to follow in Libby, Montana.
