Devoted first to the Lord Jesus Christ and then his bride Ellie of 54 years, he was loved by all who knew him.
His children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Church and Air National Guard friends were special to Jim.
Activities and trips with his senior group were always a highlight.
Camping, RV’ing, attending grandchildren’s events, playing games, cracking jokes, collecting stamps and coins were hobbies he enjoyed.
Jim is survived by his wife Ellie, his four children and their spouses, Christine Stokes (Greg), Jim Wallace, Jr. (Jill), Cheryl Ryan, (Steve) and Cindy Schalk, (John), 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, his sister, Barbara Christofferson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thanks to a courageous, kind, precious man that touched our hearts forever.
His service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at First Assembly of God, Spokane, WA at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Jim to Teen Challenge of Spokane.
