Obituary: Behrens, William G.
Age 66
He received both bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Nebraska.
He was a teacher, coach, and guidance counselor for 11 years in Nebraska school systems before moving to Spokane.
He worked at Washington Water Power (later Avista) in the IT department and when it was outsourced to EDS he continued work there as an employee of EDS until his retirement in 2007.
His passions were golf and Nebraska football, and he enjoyed all sports.
Bill is survived by Margaret Harris; brother, Robert (Linda) Behrens; sisters, Ellen Bierschenk, Betty (John) Meier, and Lois (Will) Lage; as well as nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Nebraska.
