Obituary: Greco, Anthony Joseph

GRECO, Anthony Joseph Like the sleeping giant that he was, Anthony Joseph Greco had just begun to awaken to his power when he passed April 16, three days prior to his 26th birthday.

Anthony, a creative young man with an old soul’s wisdom and a heart filled with kindness and generosity, enjoyed a wide array of musical styles from Kansas to Ron Pope; reptiles - especially his snake; art, expressed through his poetry and his multiple tattoos, Asiatic lilies, and sports.

As a youngster, he excelled in soccer, baseball, and Tae Kwan Do.

He was a graduate of Lakeside High School in Nine Mile Falls, where he was a long-time resident.

As a young adult, he explored auto mechanics and obtained his AA from Spokane Falls Community College.

He had established a career in the retail clothing industry and was returning home to his beloved Spokane, to further his career and continue his education.

Anthony cast a bright beacon of joy, compassion, and love to all whom he encountered.

He is survived by his parents, Donn Greco of Nine Mile Falls; Mary and Glenn Gerringer of Post Falls; his siblings-Aubrey, who resides in Spokane with her fiancĂŠ Chad Kubik; Creston Greco of Nine Mile Falls; Molly Gerringer and Sam Gerringer of Post Falls; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Maureen Geiser; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A Rosary/Vigil will be held Monday, 7 p.m., at Assumption of the Virgin Mary Parish, 3624 W. Indian Trail Road, Spokane, and the funeral will conducted Tuesday, 11 a.m., also at Assumption.
