Several cars involved in accident
Emergency crews are untangling a multiple-car accident along Highway 291 near the Spokane and Stevens county line.
MedStar has used a helicopter ambulance to take victims to a Spokane hospital, according to reports from the Washington State Patrol.
At least three cars were involved and traffic was blocked until after 8 p.m.
