I-90 vehicle rollover injures 3, kills dog

 (WSDOT)
The Washington State Patrol reports a car rolled off the Pines Road east off-ramp along Interstate 90, injuring two adults and a child in the crash. The 2000 Chrysler Voyager vehicle rolled over around 11:40 a.m., according to a WSP news release. A single lane of the off-ramp was partially blocked while emergency crews attended to those injured in the crash, WSP spokesman Jeff Sevigney said. The driver, identified by WSP as David R. Rowberry, 30, had to be extricated and likely sustained the most injuries, Sevigney said, but everyone is expected to be okay. A dog died in the crash, he added. All three occupants, including a five-year-old girl, were taken to Providence Sacred Heart Hospital for their injuries. There were no signs of impairment, but Sevigney said the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel. The vehicle rolled a great distance off the roadway, into a grassy area, a WSP news release said. The driver will be charged with negligent driving, driving without a license and insurance, the release added.
