Obituary: Hubbard, Charles Ray “Chuck”

Age 65

HUBBARD, Charles Ray “Chuck” September 22, 1947 to April 20, 2013 Charles passed away peacefully on April 20, 2013.

He is survived by his wife Barbara of 44 years whom he met in Mitchell, SD in 1967 while working on road construction.

They married in Mitchell, SD in 1968.

They had two sons, Rusty (April) Hubbard of Medical Lake, WA, Corey Hubbard of Spokane, WA; one grandson Joshua (Stephanie) Hubbard of Spokane, WA; two great-grandsons Karson and Mylo Hubbard of Spokane, WA.

Also survived by three brothers, Tim Hubbard of North Dakota, Phillip (Doris) Hubbard of South Dakota, David Hubbard of South Dakota; one sister Janette (Todd) Canoy of Post Falls, ID.

Chuck’s real passion was his commercial refrigeration jobs he worked for himself, Arctic Refrigeration, Diamond Aire, Dockrey Mechanical and Northwest Refrigeration for over 40 years, loved his jobs and teaching people.

He belonged to Lonewolf Hog Chapter and Harley Owners Group and loved riding his Harley.

He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, motorhome and traveling.

In lieu of flowers please share your favorite dish at a potluck gathering at Contempo Court, 1205 N. Lyons Ave., Spokane, WA on Sunday, May 5th between 1pm and 5pm.

There will be a graveside burial at a later date in Mitchell, SD in a family plot.
