Obituary: Saladin, Sandi Harold

SALADIN, Sandi Harold Sandi Harold Saladin, age 78, was born June 6, 1934 in Spokane, WA.

The fourth of six children of Swiss immigrants.

Sandi graduated from Lewis and Clark High School, he moved to Walla Walla, WA in 1964.

He is survived by his spouse of 44 years Kathleen; sons: Thomas (Kristin) and Joseph (Heather); grandchildren: Carter, Alexa, Hadley and Liam; sisters: Rose and Marilyn (Paul); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother Rich, and his sisters Sylvia and Mary.

Sandi served in the Army National Guard for eight years, he retired from Western Electric, where he worked as a Central Office Installer.

Sandi enjoyed traveling with his wife, to Ireland to visit family, and road trips throughout Western U.S.

He enjoyed antique cars, watersports, antiquing, woodworking, sports, especially Gonzaga basketball, Seattle Mariners and WSU.

Above all, he was a devoted family man, and his grandchildren were his joy.

Visitation is at the funeral home, starting on Sunday , April 28th at 1:00 pm, the Rosary will also be at the funeral home Monday, April 29th at 6:00 pm, the Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, April 30th at 11:00 am at St Paschal Catholic Church, 2523 N Park Road.

Memorial contributions may be made to St Vincent DePaul, or Mary Queen Catholic Church.
