The estranged wife of rocker Jack White has filed a restraining order against him after she said in their divorce filings he was threatening her and she fears for her safety and her children’s.

British model and singer Karen Elson married White in 2005 in Nashville and they have two children. They separated in 2011 and Elson filed for divorce last year.

Elson said in the filing that White has a violent temper, sends her emails laced with profanity and calls her derogatory names. A publicist for White said there was no immediate comment.

Lowe, Jones to exit ‘Parks and Rec’

NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” is losing two of its cast members. Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones will leave the series after the 13th episode of the upcoming sixth season. They play characters Chris Traeger and Ann Perkins.

In an email, executive producer Mike Schur, said: “Heading into this year, with the two of them contemplating parenthood, it felt like the natural time to move them into the next phase.”

“Parks and Recreation” also stars Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza and Aziz Ansari as employees working in local government in Indiana.

Urban will return to ‘American Idol’

Keith Urban is coming back to “American Idol.” Fox chairman Kevin Reilly on Thursday confirmed the return of the country music star, settling the fate of the only judge left from last season on the talent competition.

“He did a really good job last year,” Reilly said to a gathering of the Television Critics Association. “The fans really like him.”

Reilly said Urban didn’t have a chance to show his personality. The executive didn’t say why, but the country singer was routinely overshadowed by bickering between fellow judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. Their departures, along with that of Randy Jackson, were announced weeks ago, a response to the show’s sagging ratings.

But Reilly was mum on who would sit beside Urban at the judges’ table next season, which begins in January. Reilly said there have been discussions with Jennifer Lopez, a former judge, “but there is no deal with her or with anyone else.”
