Save the murals

Spokane City Hall is exactly that, a meeting place or hall for all citizens to interact with city service providers, elected officials, and to feel connected to their city. City Hall has wonderful murals at the entrance to elevators on every floor. The murals celebrate important history of Spokane: Bloomsday, Expo ’74, the parks, etc.

Jan Quintrall believes that City Hall is her own residence and she can do as she pleases. I interact with City Hall all the time and have interacted with Jan on occasion, too. She is arrogant and uses every situation to her advantage. Jan knows the rules but had decided to plead ignorance on the removal of the murals at City Hall. Rubbish. She knows very well the rules, she just got caught.

Please, Mayor David Condon and City Council President Ben Stuckart, the only thing that needs to be removed from City Hall is Jan Quintrall.
