Obituary: Branson, John R.
He graduated from High School and joined the US Navy.
He was both a US Marine and in the US Navy.
He was Honorably Discharged from both when his tour of duty was over.
John established Branson Steel and Branson United Steel Buildings.
He then opened Shamrock Pawnshop.
He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and playing cards.
He said that playing cards totally relaxed him when there was too much confusion on his mind.
He leaves behind his children: Michelle, John, Renee, Christy, Eric and Bill as well as 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Vigil Service will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes on Tuesday, August 6th at 7:00pm, the Funeral Service will be held at the Cathedral on Wednesday, August 7th at 2:00pm, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
