Chuck Barney Mcclatchy-Tribune

Don’t miss

“The White Queen”: Make way for prime time’s latest sex-and-swords saga. This rollicking, 10-part series looks at England’s War of the Roses through the eyes of three fiercely determined women who laid claim to the throne. While the men clashed on the battlefield, they ruthlessly used whatever means possible to take out anyone who stood in their way. Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson shines in the title role. 8 and 9 p.m. Saturday, Starz.

WEDNESDAY: The new season of “Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles” should be a major thrill. That’s if you get a kick out of watching people haggle over exorbitant, overpriced homes few of us could afford. 9 p.m., Bravo.

WEDNESDAY: “Broadchurch” is a thrilling whodunit that focuses on the murder of a young boy in a quiet seaside town, where the suspects are many. David Tennant (“Doctor Who”) and Olivia Colman play detectives trying to crack the case. 7 and 10 p.m., BBC America.

THURSDAY: On the season finale of “The Winner Is,” our crooning finalists put their mouths where the show’s money is in hopes of walking away with a million bucks. Nick Lachey hosts. 9 p.m., NBC.

FRIDAY: “Strike Back” is back. Season 3 of the action thriller follows the stealth counterterrorism unit Section 20 as it pursues a deadly terrorist network from Colombia to Lebanon to Eastern Europe. 10 p.m., Cinemax.

SATURDAY: “Clear History” might be why we have no new episodes of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” The film, written by and starring Larry David, follows the sad travails of a marketing executive who is publicly humiliated after giving up his shares in a startup company that goes on to make billions. 9 p.m., HBO.
