Obituary: Plumb, Dorismae C. “Tootie”

PLUMB, Dorismae C. “Tootie” Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on August 1, 2013 at the age of 73.

She was born on September 20, 2013, to Cora and Obert Hanson in Bagley, Minnesota.

Survived by her children Don Sly (Lisa), Chris Kenney (George), Jim Plumb (Phyllis), Audie Tyler, Thomas Plumb and Shawn Plumb.

Many grandchildren and great- grandchildren, brother Jim Hanson, special friend Sandra, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her son Rodney Plumb and her sister Evelyn Couch.

Through her travels, she touched the lives of many.

Her warm smile, fun and caring personality, kind words and thoughtfulness, would lift the moods of most everyone in her presence.

Her accomplishments are many — some so small only she and you may know, and some so grand they will last forever.

She will be missed by many and was loved deeply by family and friends, as she was truly an angel on earth.

She will be in our hearts forever, as we are in hers.

Tootie was a bartender for 30 years and cheered on the Minnesota Vikings!

It has been said she was a LEGEND…and she truly was!

Memorial services to be held at the VFW Post #3067, Deer Park, WA on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
