ANDERSON, Charles H. June 28,1933 - Aug 5, 2013 Charles H Anderson (Carl) passed away August 5, 2013 after a brief illness.

He was born June 28, 1933 in Republic, WA to Charles & Ruth Anderson.

After graduation from Republic High School in 1952, he was drafted into the Army.

He served two years while stationed in France.

Upon returning to Republic he resumed work at Anderson’s Grocery and married Ruth H Alm on June 9, 1957.

Son Craig Carl was born in 1960, followed by daughters Carla Sue in 1963, and Julie Ann in 1965.

After running Anderson’s Grocery along with brothers Gary & John D, he retired in 1997.

He enjoyed spending his retirement with his family & friends while enjoying the outdoors, especially huckleberry picking.

Carl is survived by wife Ruth, son Craig (Sam), daughters Carla (Cliff) Walton, and Julie (Marty) Padilla.

Grandson Jordan Padilla, granddaughters: Natalie (Adam) Prevatte, Madison Padilla, Bethany Walton, and Leah Walton.

Great-grandson Cole Prevatte and great-granddaughter Piper Prevatte.

Sisters: Ruth (Royce) Satterlee, Karen Villareal, and brothers: Byron (Pauline), Gary (Pam), John D, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at the Republic Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carl’s memory to the Republic Presbyterian Church or the Republic Cemetery
