Obituary: Short, Raymond Eldridge

Age 72

SHORT, Raymond Eldridge (Age 72) Of Spokane Valley, WA died Sunday, August 4th at home of natural causes.

Raymond was born November 20, 1940 in La Crosse, WI and was raised and educated in Great Falls, MT.

He enlisted in the US Navy in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1969 as a Torpedoman Second Class.

Raymond earned a National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal while serving in Pearl Harbor, San Diego, San Francisco and the Philippines.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Katherine Short of Murrieta, CA, his son, Raymond Short Jr. of Spokane Valley, WA, sisters Carol (Frank) Rizzardo of Enola, PA, and Linda (William) Hearlth of Cannon City, CO, brothers Roy A (Carol Ann) Short of Mount Vernon, WA, Alvin B.

Short and Lester R. Short, Jr. of Great Falls, MT.

He is preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Short of Great Falls, MT, and his parents Frances L. and Lester R. Short.
