King new voice of UI men’s basketball

Chris King will be the new voice of Idaho Vandals men’s basketball.

Idaho Vandals Sports Properties made the announcement on Thursday.

King called Boise State women’s basketball for two years and has been the play-by-play announcer for the Tri-City Dust Devils of Northwest League baseball.

Eastlake LL of Sammamish, Wash., scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to defeat Coeur d’Alene 5-4 in the semifinals of the Little League Northwest Regional in San Bernardino, Calif.

CdA scored all of its runs in the second inning without a hit. Its lone hit came in the sixth.

Eastlake will play Billings on Saturday for a berth in the LL World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
