In brief: Work will restrict traffic on Sullivan

From Local Reports

SPOKANE VALLEY – Another road construction project is starting on Sullivan Road on Monday.

Crews will be resurfacing the concrete deck of the bridge that crosses over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks just south of Marietta Avenue.

The surface of the bridge has been deteriorating and separating from the deck. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction during construction, which is expected to last three weeks.

The project is fully funded by a federal grant.
