LUDEN, Reathel June (Hull) (Age 92) We mourn the loss of our Reathel who was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a beloved friend to many.

She passed away on July 26, 2013.

Reathel was born on January 19, 1921 at St. John, WA and was the oldest child of Lilia and Roy Hull.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Allen Hull, Irvin Hull and Ivan Hull and one sister, Nadine.

She leaves behind daughter, Sharon Eklund; grandsons, Scott Eklund (Lorinda Eklund) and Justin Eklund; great-granddaughters, Hayley and Rae Anne Eklund; and brother, Wayne Hull, plus many nieces and nephews.

Reathel graduated from Cheney High School in 1940.

Upon graduation she worked at Bell Telephone Company as a switch board operator.

She married the love of her life, Grant Luden, in 1946.

They were married 66 years before his passing in 2012.

Reathel retired as bookkeeper for Greyhound Bus Lines in the late 1970’s.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, Magnolia Chapter in Millwood, WA and was Mother Advisor for the Rainbow Girls, Hope Assembly in Millwood, WA.

Nothing was more important to Reathel than her family and entertaining all of us with her many stories of growing up in a family of six.

She worked tirelessly and with love writing a journal of her dad’s life and researching the genealogy of the Hull family.

She was an exquisite seamstress and quilter.

Many family members and friends have enjoyed the beautiful quilts she created over the years.

Always we will cherish each quilt and each stitch she made for us with love.

Reathel’s gift of love to her family and friends will always be cherished.

Her laughter and her love of life will always be with us as we celebrate her love for each one of us.

I will forever love and miss you, Mom!
