SMYTH, William Arthur “Bill” (Age 65) Was suddenly summoned by our Heavenly Father on August 4, 2013, in Chattaroy, Washington.

Services will be held at a later date to celebrate Bill’s life.

Bill was born on June 27, 1948, in Los Angeles, California to Johnnie and Lois Smyth.

Bill graduated from Scotts Valley High School and then voluntarily enlisted in the U.S. Army.

He served in Vietnam from 1967-1969.

After his service, Bill moved to Santa Cruz, California, to start his family and pursue his passion of motorsports, water and snow sports, and his devotion to God.

Bill moved to North Idaho, an even better location, in 1985 to enjoy and expand his family, and his passions of the outdoors and all God’s creatures.

Bill believed in and loved God, the Bible, his family, and the Constitution of the United States of America.

Bill is survived by his former wives Su Sager and Mary Beth Smyth, his nine children, Timothy (and his wife Caran Kennedy-Smyth) , Sarah (and her husband Adam) Franzen, Rebekah, Deborah, Hannah, Matthew, Joshua, Jeremiah, and Daniel, two granddaughters Victoria and Samantha, brother Wendell Smyth, aunt and uncle Janice and Dwight Moore, and cousins Wayne and Janine.
