Obituary: Daniels, Janice Marlene
Janice was a devoted mother with many passions, but none more than her loving husband, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Janice was born February 17, 1937 in Wallace, Idaho.
She attended Kingston High School.
She married Donald Daniels and together they shared 52 years together.
She lived in several states during her husband’s military service but spent much of her life in Spokane, WA a place she called home.
Janice’s first love was her family which included activities that spoiled family and friends.
She enjoyed Cooking and feeding us way too much, playing card games with great joy in winning, motorcycle touring the country, traveling to beautiful locations, camping in the great outdoors, following her NASCAR favorites, all sports especially one’s played by family, working in the earth growing her garden and flowers, enjoying the sounds of slot machines at the casino, and playing any kind of games with her Family!
Janice is survived by Donald her loving spouse; son Dan and Linda Daniels, daughter Janell and Mike Plaggerman, daughter Joleen and Doug Uhlenkott, and son Dwayne Daniels.
She is survived by seven grandchildren; Derrek and Darcie Daniels, Kara and Cory Plaggerman, Christopher and Jared Uhlenkott, and Cage Daniels.
She is survived by one great-grandchild; Catherine Daniels.
Family includes a brother Henry and Lucy Smith, and a sister Diane Thompson.
Janice’s gift of love to her family and friends will always be cherished.
Her love of life will always be with us as we celebrate her love for each one of us.
A memorial service is planned for 3:00pm on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7307 N. Nevada Street, Spokane, WA 99208.
The family asks that donations be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers.
