Spokane County detectives say they have identified Scott Ruziecki, 40, as a suspect in two recent bank robberies. (Spokane County Sheriff's Office)
From staff reports
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect in two area bank robberies and is asking for help finding him. Scott Ruziecki, 40, is suspected of robbing branches in the Safeway at 3919 N. Market Street and the U.S. Bank in the Albertson’s at the intersection of Argonne Road and Trent Avenue. Security cameras captured an image of the suspect in the U.S. Bank robbery, which occurred around 11 a.m. Monday. The man reportedly approached the teller with a note demanding money and fled the scene heading east on a BMX style bicycle. The Sheriff’s Office said Ruziecki might be driving a black Honda, but is more than likely riding the bike. He may have also changed his appearance, dying his hair a darker shade and cutting it short. Authorities have released a Facebook photo of Ruziecki. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org.
