Fergie makes it real: She’s Mrs. Duhamel

Fergie has officially changed her name: The singer born Stacy Ann Ferguson is now Fergie Duhamel.
The Grammy winner’s representative confirmed the name change Friday.
Fergie is one-fourth of the Black Eyed Peas. She released her solo debut, “The Dutchess,” in 2006. It launched five big hits, including “Fergalicious” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”
The 38-year-old singer is married to 40-year-old actor Josh Duhamel. She is pregnant with their first child.
West’s LAX scuffle not a felony
Kanye West won’t face felony charges after being accused of attacking a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport. But he’s not completely off the hook.
The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said Friday it is declining to prosecute the rapper, but his case will go to the city attorney for possible misdemeanor charges.
In the July 19 incident, West scuffled with a member of the paparazzi who staked out the airport to snap celebrity photos. Videos showed West lunging at a photographer’s camera and trying to wrestle it away.
Prosecutors say the photographer did not have a significant injury and it’s unknown if his camera was damaged. They also say no weapon was used and West doesn’t have a felony record.
Miss Teen USA alleges ‘sextortion’
The FBI is investigating allegations that the newly crowned Miss Teen USA was the victim of someone who hacked into a webcam in her Southern California bedroom several months ago in an attempt to extort nude photographs from her.
Agents believe they have identified the person behind the alleged “sextortion” scheme, a spokeswoman for the FBI in Los Angeles said Friday. No arrest has been made.
Cassidy Wolf, a 19-year-old graduate of Great Oak High School in Temecula, won the Miss Teen USA crown Aug. 10.
Wolf has said she would use her fame to highlight cybercrime, and earlier this week told the website of NBC’s “Today” show that several months ago she received an anonymous email in which the sender claimed to have stolen images from the camera on her home computer.
The emailer threatened to go public with images captured from Wolf’s webcam unless she would provide nude pictures of herself, according to the FBI. Wolf went to authorities.
