Obituary: Anderson, Bessie Ruth

ANDERSON, Bessie Ruth (Age 82) Passed away peacefully on Sunday August 11, 2013.

She was born, raised, and has lived in the Spokane area for 82 years.

She attended first through eighth grades at the one room Warsaw school house at 7 mile.

Bessie graduated from Rogers High School in 1949.

She attended business school and worked at the Crescent and Spokane Chamber of Commerce until she met and fell in love with Gene Anderson.

They married in 1956.

Together they adopted their son, Tim, in 1962.

Bessie remained a homemaker, loving wife, and mother from then on.

She was a member of the U.S.S.

Flint Association.

Bessie is survived by brothers George St. Germain, Chattaroy, WA, Lawrence (Linda) St. Germain of Spokane, WA; son Timothy (Candace) Anderson of Spokane Valley, WA; three grandchildren, Melissa, Laura, and Brittany of Spokane, WA; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Dorothy Seymour; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend Ann Larsen of Florida.

She was preceded in death by brothers Richard St. Germain, Arthur St. Germain; sisters Shirley Rouse, Margie Geissinger, and loving husband Gene Anderson.

A time of visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 12 noon to 2 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Heritage Chapel on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 3 pm.
