Rich Hadley to step down from Greater Spokane Inc. post

Rich Hadley, who has led the region’s biggest chamber of commerce for 20 years, is stepping down in April.

The board of trustees of Greater Spokane Inc. made the announcement today.

“I am very proud of our talented staff and exceptional board leadership who have contributed to so many successes over the past twenty years,” Hadley said in the news release. “It’s time for the organization to have its next generation of executive leadership.”

A committee will conduct a national search for Hadley’s replacement, the release said.

Hadley, a naval air intelligence officer during the Vietnam War, came to Spokane from previous posts as head of chambers of commerce in St. Paul, Minn., Boulder, Colo., and Kalispell, Mont.
