The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Derek D. Hague, 24, on Aug. 6 in connection to the burglary. He’s being held at the Kootenai County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail while awaiting trial on charges of robbery, burglary and malicious injury to property. The suspects allegedly broke into the home on Aug. 4 before 1 a.m., according to the news release. The victim, a 54-year-old woman, saw the suspects fleeing with two safes containing rare gold and silver coins, as well as prescription medication belonging to her father, who is disabled and was inside during the robbery.
