Knifing to head happened at House of Charity

From staff reports
Spokane police arrested a teenager suspected of using a butcher knife to stab a man in the head at the House of Charity early Thursday morning. The 17-year-old boy faces charges of attempted first-degree murder. At about 6:30 a.m., police received a call that someone had been stabbed in the back of the head at the shelter, police spokeswoman Monique Cotton said. The victim was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center. Their identity and medical condition is unknown at this time. Police arrested the teen about 10 minutes after the call. Cotton did not identify the suspect. Witnesses told police that the suspect was yelling and threatening to kill the victim before the stabbing.
