There will be opportunities to tour the facility, meet the faculty and visit with community leaders. The plans for Phase II of construction will also be available to view. Washington’s Legislature recently allocated $1.5 million in capital funds to continue the construction.

The school offers hands-on classes in advanced biomedical applications, advanced engineering applications, aerospace and advanced manufacturing, sports medicine, cosmetology, fire science and the Avista Center for Entrepreneurship.

The school is a collaboration of Central Valley, East Valley, Freeman and West Valley school districts. High school students from around Spokane County are eligible to take the courses for free.
