Obituary: Turner, Wayne Sanford

TURNER, Wayne Sanford (Age 80) Wayne Sanford Turner went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 27, 2013.

Wayne was born in Ferndale, CA.

He served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

In 1964, he moved to the Spokane area where he raised his family, and owned his own trucking business, W.S.

Turner Trucking.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara; three married children: Ron Turner (Joanne), Judy Schelley (Jim), Janette Norman (Jerry); six grandchildren: Bryan Schelley (Sarah), Scott Schelley (Vanessa), Katie Robinson (Jeremy), Mindy Norman, Jay Norman (Kati), Chad Norman (Kari); five really great grandchildren: Ella, Turner, Tristan, Trinity and Ryley.

Graveside services will be held Friday, August 30, 2013, at 1:30pm at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Road, Medical Lake, WA 99022.
