Re-implement Glass-Steagall

U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell is working to re-implement the Glass-Steagall Act, the firewall between regular banks and investment banks. We used to have that protection, but it got repealed, which brought us the recent bank bailouts.

Now would be a good time for everyone to encourage their other congressmen to support Glass-Steagall.

  • We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
  • We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
