Bad behavior marred meeting

I am a constituent of Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, and although I didn’t vote for her, I was dismayed at the behavior of the crowd at her Town Hall. As a result of the time spent cheering and booing, the number of questions she could respond to was very limited.

Her discussion about the legislation she and Wyden (OR) and others sponsored to enhance hydropower resources deserved more time and attention. Can The Spokesman-Review perhaps do a story explaining it? The only new information other than that, at least for me, was about the “wolf problem.”

A matter of concern to me is assuring her support for reauthorization of the Older Americans Act, with a 5.26 percent increase in funding. Senior nutrition and many other programs helping seniors in our community would benefit.
