Carr’s stats tweaked after scoring change

SATURDAY, AUG. 31, 2013

Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr’s statistics from the Bulldogs’ 52-51 overtime victory Thursday night against Rutgers have been adjusted after official scorers took away a completion that had been wiped out by a penalty. Carr was originally credited with 53 completions on 74 attempts for 470 yards. The school announced Friday that a 14-yard completion on the second play of the fourth quarter that was taken away leaves Carr 52 for 73 for 456 yards with five touchdowns in the victory. Carr still set school and Mountain West Conference records for completions and passes.
