’Jacks dash by Kellogg 48-7

Luke Feasline led the way in St. Maries’ season-opening 48-7 win over Kellogg Friday night at St. Maries.

Feasline scored twice on the ground, including a 60-yard run, and also hooked up with receiver Dillon Michael for 100 yards and two scores.

Brad MacUmber added two more rushing scores for St. Maries.

The Lumberjacks scored 20 points in the second quarter to take a 34-0 halftime lead.

James Redd scored Kellogg’s lone touchdown in the third quarter.

Wallace 74, Kootenai 40: At Harrison, the Miners topped the Warriors.

Jacob Berman threw for four touchdowns and rushed for three more to lead the Miners.

Gavin Rasmussen caught three of those touchdown passes while rushing for another.

Wallace outscored Kootenai 30-6 in the second quarter to take a commanding 54-20 halftime lead.

Morgan Willms led Kootenai with four touchdowns, 140 rushing yards on 20 carries, and 143 yards on eight receptions.

Jake Pfeiffer completed 11 of 21 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns for Kootenai.
