Obituary: Warne, Sharon Mauer Bays

WARNE, Sharon Mauer Bays (Age 69) Was taken abruptly from her loving family November 29, 2013.

Sherry was born April 6, 1944 in Spokane to Ralph and Blossom (Corey) Richardson.

A lifetime resident of the area, she graduated from Shadle Park High School.

Sherry spent many years as an assistant to the Spokane County Auditor.

More recently she worked several years as a regional archivist for Eastern Washington.

Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Bays.

She is survived by her two daughters, Julie Nikkola (Scott) of Spokane Valley, WA, Cheryl Eoff (Grant) of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren, Brad Peterson (Robin) and their daughters McKenna, Hailey Nikkola and Griffin Eoff.

Sherry is also survived by her companion, Bob Warne.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00am in the Colonial Chapel at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road.
