Spokane Valley thieves make off with thousands of dollars worth of iPhones

From staff reports
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is looking for those responsible in the theft of tens of thousands of dollars worth of late-model iPhones from a Verizon store sometime Tuesday night. A deputy responded to a commercial burglary call at 15150 E. Indiana Ave. near the Spokane Valley Mall shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release. He found the storefront window broken out and an employee who said much of the store’s iPhone stock was missing. On Wednesday, store officials confirmed 48 iPhones, models 5S and 5C, were missing. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest at 800-222-8477 or submit a tip online. A cash reward is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest in the case.
