Walter Payton Award winner Bo Levi Mitchell and Tennessee Titans All-Pro offensive tackle Michael Roos have been recognized among the all-time best 50 male athletes in the Big Sky Conference, the league announced Thursday.
Mitchell is No. 22 on the list compiled by the league in celebration of its 50th anniversary, with Roos just ahead of him at No. 20.
Mitchell transferred to Eastern from SMU and led the Eagles to the FCS championship. Mitchell won the Walter Payton Award, given to the top player in FCS, in 2011. He plays for Calgary in the Canadian Football League.
Roos started his last 35 games at Eastern at offensive tackle to earn All-America honors and FCS Lineman of the Year accolades. He was drafted in the second round by Tennessee in the 2005 NFL draft and has started every game he has played for the Titans.
North Idaho (2-1) rolled to a 45-3 dual win over Western Wyoming in Las Vegas. Jared Miller (125 pounds), Carlos Lozoya (133), Terrance McKinney (141), VJ Giulio (197) and Taylor Kornoely (285) had pins for the Cardinals.
