Proctor ties for 5th

After winning the first two rounds at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Grand Coulee’s Shane Proctor finished tied for fifth in bull riding on Saturday, failing to post a time. There was good reason: he was aboard “Wicked”, a bull that has never been ridden in 23 attempts. Riley and Brady Minor of Ellensburg tied for first place in the third round of team roping and Colbert’s Tyson Durfey finished 15th in tie-down roping. In all-around, defending season champion Trevor Brazile of Decatur, Texas, maintained his big lead over runner-up Tuf Cooper. Brazile has won 10 of the last 11 season all-around titles.
