Grant County Sheriff’s Office identifies man found shot

A man found shot in rural Moses Lake on Wednesday morning has been identified as 28-year-old Dale Glenn Olmos by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Olmos remains in critical condition after being found in the 2800 block of Road 5 NE around 8 a.m. yesterday, according to a news release. The hospital where he is being treated was not identified due to safety concerns, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Little information has been released about the shooting. Detectives do not think the incident was a random occurrence, according to the release.
