Obituary: Gardner, Leann (Ross)

Age 65

GARDNER, LeAnn (Ross) Went home to be with her Heavenly Father on December 14, 2013.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt and sister.

LeAnn was born in Nampa, ID on August 20, 1948 to Leon and Clarice Ross.

She spent most of her growing up years in Millwood, WA and graduated from West Valley High School in 1966.

She worked for Rouse’s Towing and Body Shop for several years.

She married the love of her life John Gardner of Oakesdale, WA on November 8, 1980 where she lived until her Homegoing.

While residing in Oakesdale she worked for SeaFirst Bank, Grain Growers, Whitman County library system and part time at the Oakesdale branch Post Office.

She served her community through many volunteer activities.

She was a gifted cook and quilter.

She was proceeded in death by her father Leon Ross and father in law Gordon Gardner Sr. She is survived by her husband John Gardner, children Brian Gardner (Sherry), Amy Yates (Jeff), her mother Clarice Ross, and sister Jane Drake (Claudus).

In addition, she is survived by five grandchildren, five nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.

Celebration of Life service will be at the Oakesdale Community Presbyterian Church, 402 West Steptoe Ave., Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM.

Donations can be made to Shriner’s Hospital, Diabetes and American Heart Associations, and Oakesdale Fire Department.
