Shooting left victim in critical condition
Dale Olmos, the victim of a shooting last week in Moses Lake in which a suspect was arrested Wednesday, is in critical condition. A brief item on Page A6 on Friday incorrectly described the shooting as fatal.
Veterans’ medical care information misstated
Veterans with an honorable or general discharge can receive treatment at a Veterans Affairs medical facility regardless of when they left the service, although some care that is not from a service-connected disability might be billed to private insurance or paid out of pocket. A story in Friday’s Spokesman-Review incorrectly described some time and payment limits for veterans’ coverage.
