Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.
Dorothy was born on February 14, 1915, in Elgin, Oregon to Hazel and Earl Arnold.
Dorothy moved to Spokane at the age of six.
She was married to her high school sweetheart Tom Hansen for 43 years.
They had one child Lynne Hansen.
She was a loving grandmother of two grandchildren, Lynne Burks and Jim Frederickson, two great-grandchildren Chris Burks and Jenni Anderson and one great-great-grandchild Brody Anderson.
She spent the last years of her life living with her granddaughter Lynne Burks.
Dorothy was active in the fraternal orders.
A Past Matron of Ivanhoe Chapter O.E.S., Past Queen of El Karnak Temple #6, a member of the PEO Chapter W and the First Congregational Church in Mountain Home.
She had a great passion for books!
