Overnight forecast: snow, freezing rain

Forecasters say a strong, warm winter storm will move through the Inland Northwest tonight. The system will bring snow to begin with but transition to freezing rain, then rain Monday morning, the National Weather Service said. The weather pattern is expected in Cheney, Davenport, Spokane, Rockford, Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, Hayden and Worley. A freezing rain advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. Monday. Roads may be icy for the morning commute.
