Free speech for Duck Dynasty

Phil Robertson’s comments regarding homosexuality are not new. This major face of “Duck Dynasty” apparently no longer has the right of free speech. Christians or tea party friendlies are fair game for any criticism, and the more vile the better. Those who seem protected are lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transsexuals, or Muslims. Not only is the U.S. Constitution ignored, but the Bill of Rights is violated in many parts of our society. Each of those mentioned above, and all the rest of us, should be able to speak our minds, hearts and opinions without getting slammed or threatened to shut them up. How sad and how lacking in civility that one cannot speak without reprisal visited upon Robertson.
