Four Corners basketball: Eastern Washington Eagles

Coming up: Saturday at Connecticut, 10:05 a.m. PST

Outlook: The Eagles get a few days’ rest in New England following a 92-70 loss Sunday at Seton Hall, and they’ll need it against the 10th-ranked Huskies. On paper, this is the toughest game of the year for the Eagles: UConn is 10-1 after an 82-70 win at Washington and features a deep, talented lineup that befits an elite program that won NCAA titles in 1999, 2004 and 2011. Senior point guard Shabazz Napier averages 15.5 points 6.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists – all team highs. The Eagles (5-5) counter with guards Tyler Harvey (19.3 ppg) and Drew Brandon (11.3 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 5.8 apg). The key player is forward Venky Jois (13.4 ppg, 8.1 rpg).
