Obituary: Wuepper, Karl Josef
Age 60
He was born on June 24, 1953 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to Helga and Robert Wuepper.
Karl graduated from Dublin High School in Dublin, CA.
He was an Eagle Scout.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada-Reno, and a Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Washington.
He served 22 years in the US Air Force Reserves.
His working career as a mechanical engineer with Boeing, began on January 8, 1985, and for 28 years he was dedicated to his work.
He married LoisAnn “Annie” (Pendleton) on February 10, 2002, in Minden, Nevada, at the Carson Valley Resort Wedding Chapel.
They have called Spokane home since 2006.
He is survived by his wife, LoisAnn at home; three children, Josef Paul Wuepper of Reno, NV, Christina Marie Jaeger of Bonney Lake, WA, and Karl Wuepper, Jr. of Midland, TX; four stepdaughters, Susan E. Hoffman of West Harrison, IN, Abigail M. Carper of Thornton, WA, Jennifer A. Cunningham of Spokane, WA, and Melissa L. Suckow of West Harrison, IN; numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday and Tuesday, December 30th and 31st, at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA, between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Riplinger Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM with Pastors Ivan Roberts and Monte LeLaCheur officiating.
A private military graveside service will follow at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, Medical Lake, Washington.
