She was the youngest of seven children.
Her family moved to Wenatchee, WA where they worked in the orchards.
When she was in her teens, her family moved to Moses Lake, WA where her father ran a cafe.
They moved back to Spokane where she attended Lewis and Clark High School.
In December 1944, she met a Navy man, Clarence Eugene (Gene) Munson, and they were married 10 months later.
They had three children: Melody Lee Jamison (husband Richard), Roy Dennis Munson (wife Linda), and Candis Ann Munson-Sutter (husband Reggie).
They moved into their last home in 1952 where they raised their three children and continued to live until their deaths.
Georgia was predeceased by her husband and all six of her siblings.
She had four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Georgia succumbed to leukemia on December 29, 2013 at the Hospice House of Spokane.
Services will be held on Saturday the 4th of January at 11:00 am in the Fairmount Memorial Park Chapel.
